1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LedgerSpace (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LedgerSpace is a personal finance tracking application that helps users manage expenses, budgets, savings goals, investments, debt, bill reminders, split bills, and charitable giving. It also includes a Zakat calculator. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

5. Financial & Religious Disclaimer

LedgerSpace is a personal finance tracking tool only. It does not provide:

Financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance
Banking services or payment processing
Guaranteed accuracy of financial calculations or projections

Always consult a qualified financial advisor for financial decisions. The App's insights and projections are for informational purposes only.

The Zakat calculator is provided for general guidance based on Hanafi rulings and is intended as a helpful estimate. Zakat can vary by individual circumstance. For complex cases, please consult a qualified scholar. LedgerSpace and its developer are not responsible for the religious accuracy of any calculation for your specific situation.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of LedgerSpace — including but not limited to design, code, graphics, and logos — are the exclusive property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting, and Google Sign-In. Your use of these services is subject to Google's respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerSpace and its developer shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App
Loss of data, financial loss, or damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
Any inaccuracies in financial calculations, reports, projections, or Zakat estimates
Service interruptions or downtime

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen or via our account-deletion page. Upon deletion, your associated data is permanently removed from our systems.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
